The Half-Ton Man is on tonight.  I got that little shiver of excitement I get when I have something fun to look forward to.  The Half Ton Man is preceded by the 627 lb. Woman.  That should be good, too.  I love reality TV.  I can't explain it.  I have two college degrees.  I'm really quite intellegent.  I went to good schools.  I got good grades.  I graduated Cum Laude from one of my colleges.  Really.

But, nothing is better than the voyeristic (is that spelled right?  Can you spell check a blog?)  satisfaction of watching how the other half lives.  Or, 90% lives.  Or 5%.  I'm not sure.  It depends on where you live, I think.  Or shop.  Sometimes, WalMart actually scares me.

Anyway, TLC doesn't disapoint.  If it's not the morbidly obese it's Little People, Big World.  Or My Unique Family.  Last week I watched a show about a family of people who were born with claws for hands.  They were otherwise extremely attractive people.  Stunning, you might say.  But they had these claws in place of hands.  Another night, there was a family who practices witch-craft.  They're Wiccan, which doesn't phase me especially.  I'm a little familiar with their practice and it is remarkably non-threatening.  But, these people face incredible fear and prejudice from their neighbors and town-folk.  Now, it might not help that they have Halloween decorations on their house year-round and the mom wears a priest collar, and they have a broom stick stand by their door.  A little in-your-face, maybe.

Simply put, there is never NOT something riveting in which to tune.  Whether it's the Food Network, HGTV, VH1, InStyle, or even MTV (You have got to catch Engaged and Underaged!!)

Oh, and by the way, it's the last day of school!  Woo Hoo!!!!
