About the Director:
Marcia Conlon, R.N., B.S.N.
Marcia has been working with babies and new families for thirteen years, first as a Pediatric Nurse at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Munson Medical Center, and as a La Leche League Leader for eight years. She has a BA from the University of Michigan and a nursing degree from Wayne State University. She has also worked as a professional birth assistant (doula). Marcia is currently working toward her Lactation Consultant license through IBLCE.
Marcia has three children: Jack (10), Casey (7), and Kelly (5). She also has an Angel Baby, Brent, who would be 11 this year.

Ann Schmittling, CNM
Annie is a graduate of the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. She was an Obstetrical nurse for over ten years prior to her midwifery training. She sees nurse midwifery as a chance to participate in the childbirth experience and enhance a woman's health care through all phases of her life. Ann is married and has three grown children, and the very proud Grandma to one (almost two)!
